You can save app data and settings to your phone’s internal storage.<\/p>\n

LOCAL BACKUP<\/strong><\/p>\n

1. Open the Apiary Book app<\/p>\n

2. In the top left, tap Menu \u2261<\/p>\n

3. Tap Settings<\/p>\n

4. Go to LOCAL BACKUP<\/p>\n

5. Tap on Back up<\/strong> option<\/p>\n

6. Local Backup screen is displayed<\/p>\n

7. Tap on BACK UP button<\/p>\n

8. The application data and settings are saved on internal storage<\/p>\n

9. Open file explorer\/manager app<\/p>\n

10. In the file manager app, navigate to Internal Storage\/ApiaryBook and check the files<\/p>\n

11. Backup<\/strong> folder is where the backup files and app settings are saved<\/p>\n

12. The name of the unencrypted database is “ApiaryBook.db”<\/p>\n

13. The name of the encrypted database is “ApiaryBook.db.crypt”<\/p>\n

14. The name of the app settings is “com.csg.apiarybook_preferences.xml”<\/p>\n

15. Media<\/strong> folder is where the media file are saved (photos, images, video, audio files)<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

TRANSFER TO COMPUTER<\/strong><\/p>\n

1. Connect your smartphone to your PC via USB cable<\/p>\n

2. Navigate to the internal memory of the device to the folder “ApiaryBook”<\/p>\n

3. Copy the folder “ApiaryBook” onto your PC in an easy to find location (such as your desktop).<\/p>\n

LOCAL RESTORE ON NEW DEVICE<\/strong><\/p>\n

1. Install Apiary Book app on your new device<\/p>\n

2. Connect your new device to the PC via USB<\/p>\n

3. Copy your “ApiaryBook” backup folder from PC to the internal memory of the new device<\/p>\n

4. Start the Apiary Book app<\/p>\n

5. In the top left, tap Menu \u2261<\/p>\n

6. Tap Settings<\/p>\n

7. Go to LOCAL RESTORE<\/p>\n

8. Tap on Restore <\/strong>option<\/p>\n

9. Local Restore screen is displayed<\/p>\n

10. Tap on RESTORE button<\/p>\n

11. The application data and settings are restored from internal storage<\/p>\n

12. After restore is complete, Apiary Book app is closed<\/p>\n

13. Start the Apiary Book app and check your data<\/p>\n
