You can save app data and settings to your phone’s internal storage.
LOCAL BACKUP
1. Open the Apiary Book app
2. In the top left, tap Menu ≡
3. Tap Settings
4. Go to LOCAL BACKUP
5. Tap on Back up option
6. Local Backup screen is displayed
7. Tap on BACK UP button
8. The application data and settings are saved on internal storage
9. Open file explorer/manager app
10. In the file manager app, navigate to Internal Storage/ApiaryBook and check the files
11. Backup folder is where the backup files and app settings are saved
12. The name of the unencrypted database is “ApiaryBook.db”
13. The name of the encrypted database is “ApiaryBook.db.crypt”
14. The name of the app settings is “com.csg.apiarybook_preferences.xml”
15. Media folder is where the media file are saved (photos, images, video, audio files)
TRANSFER TO COMPUTER
1. Connect your smartphone to your PC via USB cable
2. Navigate to the internal memory of the device to the folder “ApiaryBook”
3. Copy the folder “ApiaryBook” onto your PC in an easy to find location (such as your desktop).
LOCAL RESTORE ON NEW DEVICE
1. Install Apiary Book app on your new device
2. Connect your new device to the PC via USB
3. Copy your “ApiaryBook” backup folder from PC to the internal memory of the new device
4. Start the Apiary Book app
5. In the top left, tap Menu ≡
6. Tap Settings
7. Go to LOCAL RESTORE
8. Tap on Restore option
9. Local Restore screen is displayed
10. Tap on RESTORE button
11. The application data and settings are restored from internal storage
12. After restore is complete, Apiary Book app is closed
13. Start the Apiary Book app and check your data
