There are two options for recording information using Apiary Book:
1. general recording, for all hives in the apiary
– example: added 1 liter of sugar syrup for all hives
– suitable for beekeepers that own a lot of hives
– suitable for users that add just a general note about the feeding
2. recording for a particular hive
– example: added 1/2 kg of protein patty to Hive 1:01
– suitable to beekeepers that own few hives
– suitable to beekeepers that want to note everything for each hive
A beekeeper can choose both options, the list of activities indicate if the record is at the apiary or hive level (the name of the hive is shown).
